Good Morning Bloggers!! NYScandalista is here once again. So if you don't know the MTV Video Music Awards came on last night with a opening MJ tribute starring his little sister Janet Jackson. I personally found the performance outstanding. Especially when they had MJ on screen and Janet dancing next to him on stage. Bloggers you just have to see it! So I will be posting a few links of the performances.

Another highlight of the night was when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's speech after receiving a Moon Man for the best female video. Kanye West felt he just had to let everyone know that Beyonce had he best videos of all time and that Taylor Swift did not deserve the award. This horrendous interruption left Taylor Swift speechless. However, it was soon after that Kanye West was kicked out of the award show for his behavior. It was later discovered that Kanye was a little tipsy from the Hennesy he had brought in earlier that night! Come on now Kanye your making us look bad! That is not how you act in public!

Although, whose fault is it really? MTV or Kanye West? Shall we take a look back at Kanye's actions from previous award shows? Well why continue to invite someone if their going to continue to be such a hardass? Well I guess we're just going to have to wait until next year award show, unless there won't be one! Zoe Kravitz has had four movie roles: she has appeared in No Reservations and The Brave One in 2007, and in Assassination of a High School President and Birds of America in 2008. Zoe Kravitz also appeared in several magazine spreads for Teen Vogue, Elle, French Jalouse, and she also had a part in Jay-Z's music video for "I Know." We all know Zoe Kravitz as the extremely stylish rocker child, but did you know that she’s now in a band? Yup, she’s the lead singer of a six member group named ‘Elevator Fight’

1 oz simple syrup

- Place infuser in glass.
- Pour rum over infuser and steep to desired strength.
- Add simple syrup, light cream and ice.

1 Lemongrass Mint infuser
2 oz gin
5 oz tonic
0.5 oz simple syrup

- Place infuser in glass.
- Pour gin over infuser and steep to desired strength.

1 Lavender Citrus infuser
2 oz vodka
4 oz pear nectar

Final Debate @ Hofstra University: What Will They Do?

With the largest surge of voter registration in recent history on the horizon, tonight's debate will be the last chance for candidates Barrack Obama and John McCain to display their Presidential qualities and win over the majority of the American public (in the battleground states of course!).

According to Http://www.cbs.com , John McCain is expected to tame his "Take the Gloves Off" approach and actually talk about the issues and his plans for the country. This decision has come after he received a very unfavorable response to his Town Hall Meeting debate strategy.

Aside from McCain's debate tactics, the question on our mind is if Obama can close it out and take this momentum with him until election day. According to CNN.com and the NY Post, Obama might be a victim of a the Bradly Effect where althought the pre-election polls displayed a favorable result, he ended up losing the overall election because many white people polled would not admit that they would not vote for a Black man for fear of coming across as a racist... HMMMMM...

Or perhaps, like us, you will only be watching tonight in order to compare what SNL will be doing tomorrow night when they imitate tonight's debate!

Say it isn't so! Apparently Pharrell Williams and his right hip Chad Hugo have been having a lot of friction for a while and are looking to end their partnership.

This would explain why when CEO of Rough Diamond Ent llc was at a recent N.E.R.D. concert at the Nokia Theater for advertising week, Chad was no where to be seen on or backstage.

As the Neptunes, Pharrell and Chad have produced several hits for artists such as Brittney Spears, Jay-Z, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Mariah Carey just to name a few. We're sure that the music shall go on however it will definetly take a hard hit if this does happen.
